  • 1 cup 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon lukewarm water
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 cups raisin bran
  • 2 1/4 cups 2 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

In bread machine pan, place the first eight ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if avaialble. Bake according to bread machine directions. Just before the final kneading add the raisins.
