Nutella Banana Bars

By

And these cake bars are packed with all of those banana rejects that your kids refuse to eat because they’ve turned brown. You have fruit bowls full of those too, right? Well, the extra ripe bananas are perfect for baking.
The Nutella swirls on the top of these banana bars just add the perfect touch. If we smothered these in frosting you’d feel bad about eating them for breakfast or at snack time, but since we’re just swirling in a bit of Nutella, you can eat them at anytime of the day. That’s just good logic, guys. Swap in hot fudge sauce for the Nutella if you’re dealing with a nut allergy (always assuming you have a nut-free hot fudge sauce!). It works great as a Nutella replacement in a lot of baking recipes. I think you’ll love how versatile this recipe really is, going from coffee cake to dessert depending on your needs.
