Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, unsalted
Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour, salt. Beat butter until fluffy, 3-5 mins.Add sugar gradually, beating about 2 mins. Add flour on low speed until just combined. Knead until smooth. Form dough into a 101/2 inch log, then into a triangle. Refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into to 1/2 inch thick.
Bake at 300F for 30 minutes.
*Parchment paper on cookie sheet will keep shortbread from getting too brown.
