String Beans

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lb fresh string beans
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 or 3 crushed garlic cloves (optional)
  • 14 oz (1 can) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until transparent.

Add all ingredients

Simmer 1 hour.
