Brunswick Stew

Brunswick Stew... Good for a cold fall or winter day... with some hush puppies or crackers... watching your favorite football game. This recipe makes enough to last you a long time with good left overs!

Ingredients
- 6-8 Small Red Potatoes
- 2 Cups of chopped Onions
- 2 Stalks of chopped Celery
- 1 tbs Olive Oil
- 3 Cans Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt (And then Add to Taste)
- 1 tsp Pepper (And then Add to Taste)
- 2 tbs Sugar
- 1 tsp Hot Sauce (Add Much More if you want it Spicy)
- 1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbs Yellow Mustard
- 1 Bell Pepper Chopped
- 3 Cans Cream Corn
- 1 Can Black Beans
- 1 Can Lima Beans
- 1 Can Butter Beans
- 5 Pounds of Cooked Meat (Use One of the following or use a mixture of: Pork Butt, Chicken, Ground Beef, Squirrel, or Rabbit... Shred the meat that can be shredded.)
Preparation
Step 1
Cook Meat and Shred.
Boil Potatoes and set aside.
Saute Onions and Celery in Olive Oil until tender.
Add all ingredients together in a BIG Pot except Meat, Corn and beans and let simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Add Corn, Black Beans, Lima Beans, Butter Beans and Meat and let simmer for 1 1/2 hours
Make you some hush puppies or butter you some crackers and enjoy the rest of the day.
