MAPLE FLAVORED SYRUP

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon maple flavor

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar and water. Stir until dissolved; bring to a boil. Cover, then boil gently for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cool slightly and then add vanilla and maple flavor. Stir only until mixed. Makes about 1 quart.
