Ingredients
- 3 1/2 tbs. coconut oil
- 2 3/4 dried shredded coconut
- 10 oz. coconut milk
- 7 oz. fresh coconut meat ( half a coconut)
- any combination of the above

The easiest way to use coconut oil si to swap it when a reciped calls for cooking oil, butter, margarine or shortening.

Other ways to get your fill:
Mix it into warm beverages, such as tea, coffee or hot chocolate; spread it on bread in place of (or along with butter); mix one part olive oil and one part coconut oil and use as a dressing (or warm the mixture, add seasonings and drizzle over rice, pasta or veggies).
Use if for frying as it does not splatter as much as other oils.
