Ingredients
- 2 cans (each 10 ounces) asparagus
- 2 regular loaves white bread, sliced
- 8 ounces roquefort cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Cut all crust off bread and roll each slice flat with a rolling pin. Mix the cheeses, mayonnaise and egg in blender and spread onto bread. Top with one stalk of asparagus and roll up; cut into three pieces. Roll in melted butter and place on ungreased cookie sheet. This can be made the day before or frozen at this point. When ready to serve, bake for about 15 minutes, or until well browned.
