Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen sweetcorn kernels
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 3 tbsp single cream
- salt and pepper
- few drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 oz butter
Preparation
Step 1
Put sweetcorn into a saucepan with 2 tbsp water and simmer for a few minutes until tender. Drain the corn and put into a food blender. Process until soft but not too smooth. In a saucepan, blend the cornflour smoothly with the cream. Add the sweetcorn mixture and cook over a low heat until smooth. Pour the mixture into a fondue pot, season with salt, pepper and Tabasco, then beat in butter. Set pot over a low burner to keep warm. Serve with a selection of crudites.
