Ginger Bread Sandwich Cookies

Bryce's favorite christmas cookie

Ingredients

• 2 cups Sugar
• 1 cup Shortenig
• 1 cup Rogers golden syrup
• 1 cup Warm Water
• 3 eggs
• 3 tsp soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp ginger
• 1/2 tsp salt
• Flour to roll(about 8cups)
• Icing
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 Tbsp corn syrup
• 1/3 cup water
• 2 egg whites

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out and cut.
Cook at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 mins.

Put together with Icing.
ICING:
Boil and stir first 3 ingredients until stringy, then add to egg whites and beat until stiff.
