Ingredients
- Sauce:
- oil for frying
- 4 chicken cutlets, cut into nuggets
- 3 egg whites
- cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp Mustard
- 6 Tbsp Sugar
- 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 4 Tbsp Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Flour
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a frying pan over a medium-high flame.
Place the egg whites in a small bowl. With a whisk, beat the egg whites well, until frothy.
Coat the chicken nuggets with cornstarch. Dip them into the beaten egg whites and fry on both sides until they are crispy and golden.
Drain remaining oil from the pan and add the sauce ingredients. Cook for 1-2 minutes until you have a smooth sauce. Return all the chicken nuggets to the pan and mix them gently until they are well coated with the sauce.
Cook for a few minutes, stirring until the sauce clings to the chicken. Serve immediately.
