Vegetable Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 Tenderflake Frozen Deep Dish Pie Shells
  • 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Prepare tenderflake pie shells according to package directions for a double crust pie.

Saute onion and mushrooms in oil until softened. Remove from heat and stir in frozen vegetables and flour, mixing well. Stir in soup, cheese and pepper. Spoon in pie shell. Cover with second pie shell, seal with flute edge. Cut steam vents on top.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until pastry is golden and filling is bubbly. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before cutting.
