Drenda's Korean Pork

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 scallions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ginger
  • 1 cup sesame seeds ( do not triple)
  • 2 lb tenderloin, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut or olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine soy sauce and seasonings in a bowl; pour over pork. Marinate 1 hr to overnight. Reserve marinade. Place meat on oil broiling pan; roast 45 mins at 370 degrees. Cut in thin strips. Heat marinade; pour over hot pork slices in chafing dish. Yield: 12-14 servings.

( I used pork loin and tripled the marinade. I also cooked the meat in the marinade. One hour before the meat was done I poured the marinade into a pan and thickened with cornstarch and poured back over meat.)
