BUTTERMILK WAFFLES

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs on high speed until fluffy. Add buttermilk and beat to blend. Sift in flour, baking soda and baking powder and add cooled melted butter or margarine, sugar and salt and beat well. Bake and serve. Makes about 10 waffles.
