Strawberry Lemonade

Make it virgin or with vodka.

Ingredients

• 2 C. Water
• 1 C. Sugar
• 1 TBSP grated lemon peel
• 1 C. Lemon Juice
• 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved.
• 2 C. Cold Sparkling Water / Club Soda
• Ice
• Vodka (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil until sugar dissolves. Add lemon peel and juice, stir, and remove from heat. Cool completely and strain into a pitcher.
2. In a blender, puree the strawberries and add to the pitcher with the lemon juice. Stir well and cool.
3. Before service, add sparking water / club soda and vodka (optional) and pour into glasses with ice.
