Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c shortening
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 c flour
  • 1/4 c molasses
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients together. Form balls and then roll in sugar. Bake on slightly greased cookie sheet at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
