Mother's Tea Cakes

Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon soda (in buttermilk)
• 1 cup crisco
• 3 eggs
• 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
• Enough flour to make a stiff dough 5-6 cups

Preparation

Step 1

Roll out on floured paper sprinkle with sugar and cut to size you wish. Bake on cookie sheet til brown on top.
