Sweet & Sour Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork spare ribs, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 clove garlic,
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn starch dissolved in water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Brown spare ribs in skillet and season with salt.
Drain.
Pour vinegar over ribs, add chopped garlic and steam 5-10 minutes.
Season with sugar and soy sauce.
Before serving, add thickened cornstarch and serve hot.
