Sangria, typical

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles of full bodied red wine
  • 2 ounces (4 tbs.) brandy
  • 2 ounces (4 tbs.) Triple Sec, Cointreau or other orange
  • liquer
  • 2 tbs. sugar
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 2 limes, sliced
  • 4 tbs. of pineapple chunks
  • Sparking Water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine wine, brandy and liquer in a pitcher. Stir in sugar, then add the fruit. Serve over ice. As you pour each serving, adjust taste with sparkling water.
