Blonde Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 2 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Sift and set aside 2 2/3 cups flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, salt. Melt in a large saucepan 2/3 cup margarine. Add and blend well 2 1/4 cups (1 pound) brown sugar. Let coll for 10 minutes. Beat in 1 at a time 3 eggs. Add flour mixture, 1 cup of nuts, and 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips. Spread in greased 15X10X1" pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
