Preparation

Step 1

First stir together: * 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened * 2 cups creamy peanut butter * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla When that's nice and smooth, add in: * approximately 2-3 cups powdered sugar (I add about a cup at a time .... and try to get it to the point of not "sticky" .... it will be pretty stiff!) **NOTE: I made a double batch, so you will not have this much dough with the measurements I gave! Place in the fridge to chill for about 30 minutes (not totally necessary, but makes the next step easier!). Using a 1 inch scoop, make "balls" of peanut butter mixture and place on wax paper. When peanut butter balls are all scooped (#1), place chocolate almond bark in a microwave safe dish (#2) and melt ... I use a silicone bowl -- SO much easier! Start by heating chocolate in the microwave for a minute, then stir, then continue heating in 30 second intervals, stirring after each one. Dip peanut butter balls into the chocolate, and swirl around to coat (#3). Let as much excess chocolate as possible drip off before placing back on the wax paper (#4). A double batch of this recipe made approximately 7 dozen pieces. 1 box of rice krispie cereal
