  • 1 500 ml sour cream
  • 2 tins cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated, divided
