Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lbs. tilapia fillets or other fish
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 to 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 to 4 TB fresh chopped parsley or 2 to 4 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup sliced almonds, coarsely chopped
- 2 to 4 TB butter, melted
- Lemon wedges

Preparation
Step 1
Pour buttermilk into a shallow dish. In another shallow dish combine bread crumbs, parsley, dry mustard, salt, & pepper. Dip fish into buttermilk, then bread crumb mixture. Place coated fish in a greased shallow baking sheet. Sprinkle fish with almonds. Drizzle melted butter over fish. Bake at 500 until golden & fish flakes easily with a fork. Allow 4 to 6 minutes for each ½ inch of thickness. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
