Ingredients
- 2 1/2 Cups Pecan
- Halves (3/4 LB)
- 1 Egg White
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 Stick Butter
Preparation
Step 1
Roast nuts in shallow pan
for 15 min. at 300º.
Beat egg white and salt
till soft peaks form.
Add sugar gradually, beat
till stiff. Fold in hot nuts.
Melt butter in shallow pan,
spread the nuts in the
buttered pan.
Bake 30 min. in 300º oven.
Stir every 10 min.
Cool and store in airtight
container.
