Crispy Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on chicken thighs
  • 4 tsp. melted butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. KOSHER-STYLE FLAKE SALT
  • 1/4 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER
  • 1/2 tsp. BOUQUET GARNI, crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450°. Wash the chicken and pat dry. Prick the skin with a fork. Brush butter or olive oil under the skin. In a small bowl, combine the SALT, GARLIC and BOUQUET GARNI and mix well. Rub some of the seasoning under the skin. Brush the tops of the chicken thighs with a bit more butter or olive oil. Sprinkle on the remaining seasoning. Bake skin-side up in a baking dish at 450° for 20-30 minutes—longer if the thighs are really large.
