  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk (5 oz. can)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 7 oz marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy saucepan, bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow cream, nuts and vanilla, stir until well blended. Pour unto a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool and cut. Makes 3 lbs.
