Pasta Fagioli in a Crockpot

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 28 oz cans diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 can white kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can red kidney beans, drained
  • 30 oz beef stock
  • 3 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 5 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp tabasco sauce
  • 1 20 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz pasta

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown beef in skillet.
2. Drain fat. Add to crock pot with all ingredients except pasta
3. Cook on low for 8 hours (high 5 hours).
4. Add pasta last 30 minutes.
5. Serve with a crisp green salad & garlic bread.
