30 Minute Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plus 2 TBLS warm water (110-120)
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In mixing bowl add sugar, warm water and sprinkle with yeast. Let set for 5 minutes. Add oil and salt. Whisk egg, add egg and 1 cup flour to bowl and mix. Add remaining flour and mix. Scrape dough to well floured surface and knead for a minute. Let rise for 5 minutes. Cut off chunks and roll into balls. Add to greased baking sheet. Let rise for 5 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Brush with butter.
