Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine -- softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tablespoons white sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons espresso powder or good quality coffee
- 8 ounces chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Cream margarine with sugars until fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and beat into margarine mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes or 10 to 12 minutes for a crispier cookie. Makes 12 to 15 LARGE cookies.
