Trifle Salad

Ingredients

  • DRESSING
  • 4 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 0.7 ounce packets dried Italian seasoning
  • SALAD
  • 1 16 ounce bag petite frozen peas
  • 1 15 ounce can chickpeas -- drained
  • 1 10 ounce bag shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 head lettuce -- shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper -- sliced
  • 1 11 ounce can corn -- drained
  • 1 bunch scallion -- chopped
  • 1 10 ounce bag shredded carrots
  • 3 or 4 Roma tomatoes
  • 2 15 ounce cans French fried onions

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare dressing. Layer ingredients in trifle bowl and before serving pour dressing over the last layer. Sprinkle with fried onions.
