  • Stove top stuffing either turkey or chicken. I normally use three boxes but you can judge depending on how many people.

  • One

    package of sliced baby portobello mushrooms or more depending on your liking for mushrooms

  • 5

    mild Italian sausage links

  • One

    large onion diced

  • Olive oil or butter to pan fry sausage

  • 1

    can quartered artichoke hearts drained well

  • Chicken stock in place of water stated on the box.


Remove sausage from casing. Heat skillet with butter or oil and fry up sausage until brown. Toss in onions until soft then mushrooms. Once it is all cooked and browned, throw ingredients into a pot big enough to hold wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients of stove top mix then add chicken stock according to the box. Add drained artichoke mix well and let stand covered for 15 or 2o minutes. Depending on the consistency you can add more broth. You don't want it to dry when your mixing.
