Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 small onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 slices fresh bread torn into tiny pieces
  • 1-1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup thick teriyaki sauce

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl, mix together milk, onion, salt, pepper and bread; allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes or until the bread is very soft and the flavours have blended.
In a medium sized bowl, mix together groundbeef and teriyaki sauce.
Using a fork, mix the softened ingredients together with the meat mixture.
Place in loaf pan and score top in diamond shape pattern using a knife.
Brush lightly with additional teriyaki sauce.
Bake at 400 degree oven for 1 hour.
