  • 2 large onions(1 pound)
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Cut onion into thick slices. In 10 inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook onion until tender. Stir in vinegar and brown sugar; cook until golden.
