Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 C. crisco
- 2 tsp. butter flavor
- 2 tsp. clear vanilla extract
- 2 lbs. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbs. meringue powder
- water as necessary
Preparation
Step 1
In mixer, blend butter crisco and salt together to incorporate, about 5 minutes on low.
Add extracts, mix well together. Add about 1 lb. sugar and meringue powder and mix.
Add 1/2 C. powdered sugar at a time and mix until you get the consinstency you want. Add a little milk, a teaspoon at a time if necessary to thin the frosting. Blend well on low for several minutes.
