Peanut Butter Bon-Bons
WOW! These are like little chocolate pieces of heaven! We add the rice crispies because it bulks up the ball, and makes it a little less calorie overloaded. It also adds a nice crunch to the bon bon.

Ingredients
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal, crushed
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Crush cereal by placing in ziplock bag and crushing with rolling pin.
Mix powdered sugar and cereal in a large bowl.
Melt peanut butter and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Pour over cereal mixture. Blend together with
hands. Keep kneading until the dough is mixed well.
Form into 1-inch balls. Chill until firm.
Melt chocolate chips in saucepan over low heat. Be very careful not to burn the chocolate! Chocolate is temperamental and will have a sugar bloom (turn white) if you over heat it.
Dip balls in chocolate coating, totally covering ball of dough with chocolate.
Remove with tongs and place on waxed paper lined baking sheet. Chill until firm (optional).
