Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 2 3/4 cups sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 6 eggs
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 tsp lemon extract
• 1/2 tsp orange extract

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

cream sugar and butter until fluffy.

add eggs one at a timebeating well.

in a sperate bowl sift together flour,salt and bakingsoda,

add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream.

add extracts and vanilla.

pour into greased and floured tube pan.

bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours. cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
