Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- pinch of mace
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, add sugar gradually.
Add eggs, one at a time, and blend.
Add vanilla and mace. Cream well.
Add flour and baking powder.
Mix well and chill for 10 minutes.
Roll and cut into desired shapes with floured cookie cutters.
May be frosted or sprinkled with sugar after baking.
