Pecan Squares

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar -- packed
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 egg white
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and add sugar.
Add flour, baking powder, and beat until soft dough forms.
Press into 10 1/2"x15 1/2"x1" greased pan.
Beat egg white with whip until foamy. Glaze dough with white and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
