  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 2 1/4 Cups packed Brown Sugar
  • Dash of Salt
  • 1 Cup light corn syrup
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In a heavy 3 quart saucepan, melt butter, add brown sugar and salt. Mix well, stir in light corn syrup. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.

Cook and stir over medium heat until candy reached firm-ball stage (245 degrees F) approximately 12 to 15 minutes.

Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, Pour into buttered 13x9x2 pan/dish.
Cool cut into 1 inch squares
