Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless Beef Round or Chuck Steak, Cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 T. Canola oil
  • 2 cans Tomato Sauce (8 ounces each)
  • 2 cups Slices carrots
  • 2 cups Pearl Onions
  • or 2 small Onions, cut into wedges
  • 1 large Green Pepper, Cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup Molasses
  • 1/3 cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 t. Chili Powder
  • 2 t. Paprika
  • 1 t. Salt
  • Hot cooked Pasta or Rice. (Optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large skillet, brown Steak in oil, transfer to a 5-Qt. Slow Cooker. Add the next 10 ingredients; stir well.

2. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender. Thicken as desired. Serve with pasta or rice.


Yields 10 to 12 servings.
