CANNED CRABAPPLES**

  • 26 crabapples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. hot water

Preparation

Step 1

Wash crabapples and drain.

In pan put the sugar and water under medium heat until it turns to syrup. Drop in crabapples and simmer for 3 minutes.

Pack in jars, leave 1/2 inch head space.

Get out all the air bubbles, screw on lid.

Put in canner and cover jars with water (1" above lid).

When boiling cook 15 minutes then remove jars and cool.
