Ingredients
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1 3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
- Freshly ground pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In a mecium saucepan, heat the butter and cream over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter melts and the cream is hot.
Gradually stir in 1 1/4 c. of Parmesan. As soon as the cheese has melted and thickenedthe sauce, pour the sauce over the cooked pasta.
Add more Parmesan to suit individual taste. Season with black pepper to taste
