Baked Curried Pears

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lemon -- juiced
  • 1 #2 1/2 can pear halves
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 can unsweeted pineapple juice

Preparation

Step 1

Put sugar, salt, lemon juce, curry powder and cornstarch into saucepan.

Add pineapple juice and bring to a boil.

Stir until thickened.

Pour over pears in baking dish.

Dot with butter.

Bake 20-25 minutes.
