Baked Ham & Swiss Sliders

.I made a brown sugar, butter, and yellow mustard dressing that added a sweet zing that took the treat from tasty to special. These Baked Ham & Swiss Sliders will be a reoccurring item in our future Game Day celebrations.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg slider buns
- 1 pkg of thin sliced deli-style ham
- Dijon mustard, for spreading
- 1 pkg Swiss cheese
- For topping-
- 2 T. Yellow mustard
- 2 T. Brown sugar (we used Splenda Brown Sugar blend)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Open the slider buns and apply Dijon mustard to the tops and bottoms. Place the bottoms in a 9x13 casserole dish as you add the Dijon.
3. Add a slice of ham to each slider bottom (fold them to make them fit).
4. Add 1/4 of a slice of Swiss cheese to each slider.
5. Add another slice of ham on top of the Swiss cheese.
6. Place the slider bun tops on the sandwiches.
7. In a small measuring cup, melt 1/4 cup of butter in microwave. Add brown sugar and regular yellow mustard to the butter and whisk together. Now brush the mixture over the tops of the buns.
8. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted. The tops will be nicely browned and crisp.
