No-Cook Coffee Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Half and Half
  • 3 tablespoons instant coffee crystals
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 4 cups heavy cream

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixing bowl whisk together the half and half, coffee crystals, sugar, vanilla and salt. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the heavy cream and whisk to combine. Freeze in an ice cream maker, according to the manufacturer’s directions.

Yields 2 quarts
