Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup light brown Sugar packed
  • 15 oz (1 3/4 cups)puree pumpkin
  • 3 lg eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F
Grease & flour two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 loaf pans (6 cup)
In a large bowl whicsk flour, baking powder, ginger & salt
In medium bowl, whisk sugars, pumpkin, melted butter & eggs
Add flour mixture to wet ingredients, stir till just incorporated
Divide batter into pans
Bake 50 minutes Let stand 10 minutes to coll before transferring to wire rack.
