Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 sticks butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 can Solo raspberry filling
  • 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 5 tbs oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325.

Beat eggs and mix with flour, sugar and melted butter. Stir in almond extract. Separate into three pans. Mix batter in one pan with a few drops of red food coloring, one with green coloring and leave one yellow. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until center is not loose.
Melt chocolate and oil.
Remove one cake from pan, spread filling over top, stack second cake, spread more filling over second layer, then cover with final cake. Cut into 4 or 5 long strips and cover each with melted chocolate. Wrap individually in foil and freeze for at least an hour. Cut into 1" slices to serve.

Important to use three pans of equal size approx. 7" x 11"
