Aunt Shirley's Pecan Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 T. ice water
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg whites and water until frothy. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, salt, then add to egg mixture, stir in pecans.

Spread on greased cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes, turning over 3 times with spatula durning baking.

Store in air tight container
