Ingredients
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Dash of salt
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 2 eggs slightly beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450.
Mix together softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add egg, mix well. Spread on unbaked pastry shell. Combine pumpkin with sugar and spices and salt.
Add milk and eggs, mix well. Carefully pour over cream cheese mixture.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until set. Cool. Brush with maple syrup and garnish with nuts and whipped cream, if desired.
