Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/3 c parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 eggs - beaten
- 1 c cottage cheese
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 c onion (chopped)
- 1/4 c green pepper (chopped)
- 8 oz. can diced tomatos
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 c (2 oz.) shredded mozzarella
Preparation
Step 1
Cook spaghetti and drain; approximately 3 cups.
Stir into spaghetti the butter, parmesan cheese and beaten eggs.
Spread mixture into a 10" greased pie plate. Press up sides and evenly along bottom. Spread with cottage cheese.
In a skillet brown meat with onion and green pepper til veggies tender and meat no longer pink.
Drain excess fat, stir in tomatos, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt and heat through.
Turn meat mixture into spaghetti pie crust and bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle top with mozzarella cheese and bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts
